Yahoo is down: Downdetector says that Yahoo users in different parts of the US have reported problems with the service on Wednesday morning. Many people were unable to access Yahoo Mail, AOL services, and Yahoo Fantasy. On Wednesday AM (US time), people in the US started stating that the services aren’t loading or working well. The problem has not yet been fixed by Yahoo. It looks like a lot of people in different places are having the same problem, and it’s not obvious what caused the outage or when it will be fixed. People are hoping that services will be back to normal soon.

Downdetector data shows that Yahoo Mail had a huge increase in reports, with over 2000 complaints coming in in a short amount of time. At this time of day, there was also minimal baseline activity, which made the peak stand out more.
About 51% of all complaints are about material not loading, which is the major problem for most users. AOL is also reporting a similar rise, with reports topping around 1800 + at peak. The baseline stayed regular all day, just like Yahoo, before going up dramatically.
