Omoda & Jaecoo Pakistan has officially launched the Omoda 7 SHS-P plug-in hybrid SUV in Pakistan, marking the company’s fifth new-energy vehicle (NEV) introduction in less than a year. The SUV is being introduced through NexGen Auto, which operates under Nishat Motor Company. The Omoda 7 joins the Jaecoo J6, Omoda E5, Jaecoo J7 and Jaecoo J5 in the company’s growing local NEV lineup. Powertrain and Range The Omoda 7 SHS-P combines a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine, an 18 kWh battery pack and a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT).
