TikToker Shamsoo Bibi Murder: CCTV Footage Emerges

CCTV footage has emerged showing the moments before and during the fatal shooting of TikToker Shamsoo Bibi, also known as Ayesha Gilamana, as police investigate the killing that has sparked concern across the local community.

The 28-year-old social media creator, who reportedly had around 1.3 million TikTok followers, was shot dead on August 14 in Taxila after motorcycle-borne assailants allegedly opened fire on the car in which she was travelling with her siblings.

According to the FIR registered at Taxila Police Station on the complaint of her father, Shamsoo had received a phone call from a man identified as Kashif before leaving home with her brother Nematullah and younger sister Asmiya. The family was later informed that she had been shot.

The FIR states that a pillion passenger on a motorcycle opened fire on their vehicle near a private petrol pump. Shamsoo was struck in the neck, causing the car to lose control and crash into a dumper. She died from her injuries, while her younger sister was seriously injured and taken to PIMS Islamabad for treatment.

The newly surfaced CCTV footage reportedly captures two motorcycle riders approaching the vehicle and opening fire, potentially providing investigators with important evidence about the attackers’ movements.

Financial Dispute and Threats Under Investigation

Police are investigating a possible financial motive. According to details reported from the FIR, Shamsoo had financial dealings with individuals identified as Kausar and Javed alias Shaheen and had allegedly received threats over demands for repayment of money. Her father also alleged that she had previously told family members about the threats.

The FIR includes charges relating to murder, attempted murder and aiding or abetting the crime. The victim’s brother has told police that he can identify the suspects if they are brought before him.

Police have launched an investigation and are examining the CCTV footage, statements from the surviving family members and other evidence to establish the identities of the attackers and determine the motive behind the killing.

Authorities have yet to make a confirmed arrest in the case, while the allegations against the individuals named in the FIR remain subject to investigation.
