At the New York Gala screening of Brunello: The Gracious Visionary, Joshua Jackson and Katie Holmes were all smiles.
The two former Dawson’s Creek stars, who are both 47, walked the red carpet together on Tuesday, April 14, at Lincoln Center’s David Koch Theatre. Holmes wore a silver maxi skirt with a white collared shirt and her short hair. Jackson looked sharp in grey trousers, a maroon jacket, a pristine white shirt and a black bow tie.
According to Variety, Brunello: The Gracious Visionary uses both documentary footage and reenactments to tell the narrative of how Brunello Cucinelli became recognised as Italy’s “King of Cashmere” with his luxury lifestyle brand that he started in 1978.

Holmes and Jackson dated for a short time while they were both in the WB’s trailblazing teen program Dawson’s Creek. They have stayed close friends throughout the years and recently got back together for Holmes’ new movie, Happy Hours, which was filmed in New York City in 2025.
“That time in my life would be like most people’s college years, right?”Jackson stated on the Today show on March 10, talking about his time on Dawson’s Creek. “And there are these people in your life—she’s a lifelong friend now—and for us to be able to go back and do this again, and for her to be able to make that space for us, it was kind of magical.”
Jackson told Today that “Katie wrote this beautiful story for the two of us that is the three phases of a love story.” “So we filmed the fun part, which is falling in love, and she’s putting it all together now.” And it will come out, and we hope it will give us a chance to go back and make the other two.
